Billy Burnette (born Dorsey William Burnette III on 8 May 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was part of Fleetwood Mac from 1987 to 1995 and one-half of the country duo Bekka & Billy (with Bekka Bramlett) from 1996-1998.
The son of Dorsey Burnette and Alberta Burnette, Burnette was literally born into a musical family. His father, and his uncle Johnny Burnette, were two of the members of the 1950s band Johnny Burnette & The Rock 'n' Roll Trio which also included Paul Burlison.
